I think that you only get that UNCONTROLLABLE NEED go that extra mile if you don't enjoy what you do... As I said, "Geeks have most fun!!"
well i would say friendship and love for starters.... but i find career and work easier to handel; more rational; and to a large extent controllable...
if your work is not your life you should change your work.
